Our Story
THE BUS KINGS are a husband and wife singing and songwriting duo who are inspired by their love for each other and their nomadic, traveling lifestyle. They live and travel full time in a converted shuttle bus, singing all along the way. This is a band born out of constant healing and passion for the present! Find The Bus Kings often singing, playing and traveling with their music-loving-friends and fans. Life may break your spine, but don't let it break your spirit ~ Life will break your heart, so let's heal through songs.
Our Sound
The Bus Kings sound like a unique mix of where they came from.
Daniel was brought up in Western North Carolina and his "mountain-music" feel comes through, rich and clever. Josa brings the quirky spirit of a native Portland (OR) child that never grows old ~
An acoustic guitar accompanied by constant and dynamic harmonies, bringing a front porch vibe to every set.
Gospel, campfire classics, blues and bluegrass get mashed up with a little bit of pop and a WHOLE LOT of heart.
